Leveraged futures can lose your entire capital.

You can lose your entire capital

Leveraged futures can lose your entire capital. A position can be liquidated, and losses can exceed what you expected when you opened it.

Leverage and no stop-loss by default

Higher leverage brings liquidation closer. By default the program has no stop-loss, so a position can stay in a deep loss for a long time; the optional 60% hard stop limits that at the cost of realizing the loss.

Past records

The live figures come from one account over a limited period. Another account, period, symbol set or setting can give a very different result, including losses.

Backtests

Backtests replay history with assumptions: price data, fees, funding, slippage and which symbols existed. They can be wrong in ways live trading reveals. Backtests are never combined with live records on this site.

Costs

Trading fees, funding fees and slippage reduce results. Funding can be paid or received while a position is open.

Copy trading

A follower's result differs from the leader's because of delay, size, fees and profit share.

Your API key

You create, store and revoke the key. Keep withdrawal permission off and restrict the key to your IP where possible. Anyone with the key and secret can trade your account.

Software and exchange failures

The program, your PC, your network or the exchange can fail or behave unexpectedly. Keep the PC on and check positions on the exchange itself.

How the figures here are calculated

Realized P&L = closed-trade P&L plus funding fees from the program's trade records. Open positions are excluded. “Closed in profit” counts trades with P&L above 0. Dates are Korea time. One account is the whole sample. Because there is no stop-loss by default, a losing position does not appear in these figures until it is closed.

Conflict of interest

The developer can receive part of the trading fee you pay through exchange broker programs. See How it works.
